Meet the Crew

Witchful Thinking is a collaborative animation short created by a group of students from Savannah College of Art and Design's eLearning program. Many of us live in different states and some even in different countries. Together, we worked to produce this amazing animation Witchful Thinking. Witchful Thinking began its production process in January of 2020 and with the guidance of Professor Diana Reichenbach, we completed the project in March of 2020.

Bethany Krupiarz

Director, Script Writer, Head of Modeling, Character Modeler, Asset Modeler, Look Development Artist, Aninmator

 & Website Designer

Bethany Krupiarz is a 3D Character Modeler who has been working in the Animation/Game industry since 2016. She received her first degree in Digital Media from Kendall College of Art and Design then continued her education by receiving her Master's of Art degree in Visual Effects from Savannah College of Art and Design. Bethany is currently working on her Master's of Fine Arts degree from SCAD in animation while working as a part-time professor at The Art Institute of Austin as well as a freelance artist for several studios and individuals. 

Sneha Peddireddy

Producer, Asset Modeler, Head of Sound, 3D Animator, Rendering Artist, & Sound Designer

Sneha Peddireddy was born in India and moved to the U.S. when she was 12 years old. She graduated from George Mason University in Summer 2017 with a B.F.A in Computer Game Design and a minor in Japanese. She is currently pursuing a M.A. degree in Animation at Savannah College of Art and Design and anticipates completion in Summer 2020. She is mainly interested in Story Development and 3D Animation.

Sharnae Roberts

Producer, Head of Rigging, & Character Rigger

Sharnae Roberts is originally from Michigan and now lives in Atlanta, Georgia. She received her bachelor’s in media arts and Animation from the Art Institute in Michigan. After receiving her bachelor’s she decided to continue her education at Savannah College of Art and Design and will be finishing in the fall of 2021. She mainly specializes in 3D Character Rigging.

Angela Awada

Script Editor, Art Director, Character Designer, Storyboard Artist, Look Development Artist, Matte Painter, 2D Artist, Visual Effects Artist & 2D Animator 

Angela Awada is  an animator, interior designer, and illustrator from Seattle. She completed her Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Interior Design at the Virginia Commonwealth University for the Arts in Qatar. For the duration of her bachelor's, she freelanced illustration and studied animation on her own time. Angela had always had a special place in her heart for designing characters, telling stories, and drawing, so as soon as she graduated, she made the decision to continue her education in animation by pursuing a Master's of Fine Arts in Animation at Savannah College of Art and Design.

Lorena Mendoza

2d Animator & Sound Designer

Lorena Mendoza is originally from Venezuela but is currently residing in Utah. She is an animator that specializes in 2D animation. Lorena received her B.A. in film and media arts with an emphasis in animation from the University of Utah and she is currently pursuing her M.A. at Savannah College of Art and Design in Animation. 

Alyssa Myers

Animation Director, 3d Animator, 2d Animator, Rendering Artist, & Logo Designer

Alyssa Myers is a versatile artist with a background in animation, graphic design, and computer programming.  With the ability to think visually and critically, she mostly enjoys projects that involve both art and technology. She is currently pursuing her M.F.A. in Animation at Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD). Before attending SCAD, she graduated from The University of Akron in Ohio with a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.F.A in Graphic Design.

Frauke Furch

Art Director, Storyboard Artist, Look Development Artist, Asset Modeler, Lighting Artist, Matte Painter,3D aNIMATOR, 2D Animator & Rendering Artist

Frauke Furch is an illustrator, graphic designer, and 3D artist currently living in Wiesbaden, Germany. After getting a B.A. in Communication Design at Hochschule RheinMain, she's now pursuing her M.A. in Animation at Savannah College of Art and Design. She specializes in Character Design, Visual Development, 3D Modeling, and Look Development. 

Leah Farner

Editor, Previs Artist, Asset Modeler, 2d Animator, 3D Animator, Visual Effects Artist, Compositor & Rendering Artist

 Leah Farner graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor’s of Fine Art. During her time there, she sparked an interest in animation and visual storytelling; and so, she decided to pursue a Masters of Fine Art to push her work and studies further. Leah has a particular love for illustration and capturing exaggerated emotion with animated gestures and facial expressions.

Charley Abrams

Assistant Script Writer, Previs Artist, Asset Designer,

Asset Modeler, 3D Animator, & Rendering Artist

Charley Abrams is currently living in Virginia. Charley has a background in Multimedia/Graphic design, and is currently working on his MA in animation. He is a contractor working for the Veterans Affairs. They create training materials and videos to which many are driven by animation. As a veteran himself, he feels bringing the highest quality products to the VA is an important way for him to do his part. The knowledge that he is gaining from SCAD is helping him achieve this goal.

Eunju Hyun

Technical Director, Head of Lighting & Rendering, Rendering Artist, Lighting Artist, & 3D Animator

Eunju Hyun is originally from Korea and graduated with a B.F.A in Computer Art from the School of Visual Arts. She is currently pursuing a M.A in Animation at the Savannah College of Art and Design while working at Scanline VFX as a generalist.

Duo Wu

Storyboard Artist

Duo Wu is from China and he has a bachelor's of chemical engineering degree. Duo realized that his true passion lies in character design and concept art so he decided to attend Savannah College of Art and Design to pursue his M.F.A in animation.

Timothy Albany

2D Animator & Environment Design

Timothy Albany came to Savannah College of Art and Design from Chadds Ford, PA to learn about 2D animation. He originally got his undergraduate degree from the University of the Arts, which taught him the foundations of animation. During his time at SCAD, he started to realize his passion was leaning towards character design and visual development since he enjoys designing characters and creating stories for those characters. Tim hopes that his education at SCAD will help him be able to pitch his own animated movies and cartoons to networks so that he can share his characters and their stories with the world.

TJ Pollard

Asset Designer, Asset Modeler, Look Development Artist

 & Sound Designer

TJ Pollard, born and raised across South Carolina is where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Media Arts from the University of South Carolina. TJ is currently living in Cleveland, OH, pursuing a master's degree in animation from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a focus on 3d modeling for animation and game development.

David Prevost

Asset Modeler, Asset Rigger, 3d Animator,

Rendering Artist, & Sound Designer

David Prevost is a 3D modeler and animator from Virginia.  He received his B.A. in Animation from Regent University and is currently pursuing his M.F.A. in Animation at Savannah College of Art and Design. His passion lies in hard surface 3D modeling.

Calvin Reid

Asset Modeler & 3D Animator

Calvin Reid  joined the Savannah College of Art and Design to further his knowledge of 3D animation so he could advance his professional career. He considers himself a generalist but wanted to increase his skills in character animation during his time at SCAD and to broaden other skill sets. He hopes to be graduate this spring.

Ben Elliott

Music

Ben Elliott is a composer and sound designer working in the Los Angeles/Orange County area. A graduate of the University of California, Irvine, with a BFA in Music, he has scored, designed, and mixed for a variety of media, including film, stage, animation, commercials, and web-related content, with hundreds of original pieces to his name.
